Panda Paddles

The first book in a series about a young but mature-minded panda, named Paul, who slowly paddles across a small peninsula to his friends house for a party. Along the way, he picks up his neighbors who begrudgingly agree to attend the party. The neighbors all dislike each other for seemingly trivial reasons like height or shape or appetite, but throughout the trip Paul helps them appreciate their differences and notice how much they really have in common.
