Today We Skate!

Gabriela is a young hispanic girl living in the city who, like anyone else, has bad days. Without any outlets to deal with her emotions, she struggles at school and at home. When a local skater girl gives her a skateboard and encourages her to learn how to skate, Gabriela discovers her stress and anger float away with every push, pop, and flip. This is a story idea about friendship, discovering what you love, and learning how to cope with challenging emotions.
